LIFTED INTO GLORY – PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE

RCCG AUGUST 2019 THANKSGIVING SERVICE

Theme: LIFTED INTO GLORY

Ministering: Pastor E.A Adeboye

Text: 1 Samuel 2:7-8

Prosperity is in levels, we have the poor, the rich, the wealthy, the prosperous and flourishing. But we also have those that are in the hole.

An example of someone that is in a hole can be seen in 2Kings 1-7. This tell us of a woman who was heavily in debt; was in a hole. The only thing of value in her home are the sons. If somebody falls into a hole, he might be able to climb up if the hole isn’t too deep but if the hole is deep, the person will need help to come out from the hole.

I pray for someone who is owing anything, very soon you will be debt free.

Another level of prosperity is “The Valley Level – 1 Kings 17:8-16. There are people who have something to eat but are extremely poor. I have been there before because the day my father bought an umbrella we celebrated. I have been there, for the first 18 years of my life I had no pair of shoes.

I decree in the name that is above every other name, none of you will die poor.

Another level of prosperity is the “Level Ground” Genesis 33:1-9. Jacob and Esau met after a long time to reconcile their friendship. Esau asked Jacob what is the meaning of the flocks he sent ahead and Jacob said it an offering to him. Esau replied him that he has enough and Jacob can keep what he has.

From the beginning of this month, in the name that is above every other name, you will always have enough

There is a higher level of prosperity called the “Hill Level” – Genesis 26:12-14. The Bible says Isaac sowed in the land and he reaped. He had so much and he became the talk of the Nation. When you get to this level, preaching the gospel becomes very easy.

The Glory Level – 2 Chronicles 1:6-15. This is about the story of a young man who on a Sunday like this decided to give thanks to God 1,000 times; slaughtering 1,000 cows. That night God paid him a visit and asked him what he wants. He answered that God should grant him wisdom and knowledge to judge His people. And God granted him what he asked for and what he didn’t asked for (riches and wealth).

A time is coming for someone listening to me, when those working for you wants to report to you, they will only report in pounds and dollars.

It is God who makes rich; He is the one who lifts up. When it comes to material success, your wisdom and education has nothing to with it; only God can make you rich.

I decree, God will lift you up to glory

It takes only one action of God to lift you up on glory. Read Genesis 41

When we say get away from sin; it is sin that pulls down.It is holiness that lifts up.

I am appealing to those of you who are still living in sin. Don’t delay your progress, give your life to Christ and your glory days will begin.

Prayer: Father, lift me up right into glory.
