Topic: What You Can Do To Get God’s Miracles
Text: 1Kings 3:9-12
Prayer: Father, let me blessings of this week be forever permanent.
Song: Alpha Omega, You are worthy of my praises today
1Kings 3:9-12 – God leaves the best to the last. I am believing God that will give someone the best today. I am believing God that you will learn today will cause you to be blessed for life.
Psalms 103:7 God showed Moses is ways and revealed the children of Israel His acts. We have learnt in the past four days some important things God can do for us. But we will learn what we must do so that God can do all these miracles in our lives.
- The secret of Solomon is that He loved the Lord and the Lord loved him 2Samuel 12:24-25. The beauty of it is that God loves you John 3:16. The question is do you love God? When God gave Solomon a blank cheque he made a request that pleased the Lord –Matthew 3:13-16. In Philippians 2:5-11 Jesus demonstrated His love to the Father; when God responded He highly lifted Him and gave Him a name above every other name. When what you do pleases God He overwhelm you with His blessing.
Prayer Point – Father, give me the grace to please to you in all my doings.
- Solomon said to God I want to do your will; I need wisdom and understanding so that I can lead your people. You want God to overwhelm you with you blessing you do is own and he will do your own – 1kings 19:19-21, 2kings 4:8-17, 2kings 6:18-23 – God promoted Elisah. I am believing God for someone today, right now nobody knows you but before you die presidents will call you daddy/mummy.
John 15:16 – God is saying do my own first and then I will do whatever you want. Whatever you do for God especially winning souls He will reward you. Nobody trade will God and lose.
Prayer Point – Father, just try me. I will be your divine treasurer. I will do Your own so You can do my own.
- God is unlimited do not limit Him Genesis 17:1. Solomon asked for wisdom and understanding and he said I can do more than you have asked. John 11:35-38 Lazarus sister limited God; Jesus said don’t limit me. 2kings 4:1-7 – The problem with us is when we ask God for a miracle we try to think of how far God can go. Don’t limit the one who is unlimited – Ephesians 3:20
Prayer Points – Father, I will no longer limit you, please do for me everything You can do.
- Get God to visit you regularly. If you study the story of Solomon that night was the first night God visited and after God continued to visit him. Psalm 16:11 let him visit you so that you can know the fullness of God. John 4:23-24 – If you are a true worshipper of God, God will always visit you and you can ask Him anything you want – John 16:24. If you learn to worship Him, HE will visit you again and again and He will multiply you.
Stand on your feet and worship HIM; give HIM glory. Magnify His holy name; bless His holy name.
May God accept your worship in Jesus name.
In conclusion, the greatest thing I found in this story of Solomon, he did what no one has done and he received what no one has ever received. Luke 4:24-26 – There were several widows in the city but Elijah was sent to just one, because God knows she is only widow that can release her last meal to God.
Prayer Point – Father, give me the grace to do for you what nobody has ever done before so that You can do for me what You have never done before
Proverbs 8:17 – You cannot claim to love God and continue to live in sin; if you are yet to give your life to Christ, do so now.
God will bless you. He will do more that you have asked for. He will do for you what He has never done for anybody before. From now on, you will enjoy abundance, good health and peace on all sides. Your joy will never end in Jesus name.
