Caption: PRAISE and PRAYER.
Which one is superior?
“And at midnight Paul and Silas PRAYED, and sang PRAISES unto God…” “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” Acts 16:25. 2Tim 3:16.
Is praise more powerful than prayer? No! JSB, but God inhabits the praises of His people, He inhabits His people’s prayer too for where two or three are gathered in my name (to pray, praise, study etc) there am I in their midst. It’s not only praise that brings down God’s presence, the gathering of God’s people does too. Praise moves God’s mighty hands, prayer does too. So, which is more powerful among the two?
Prayer and Praise are both powerful spiritual tools among other tools we engage in moving the hands of God as commanded by the Word. Why then do people say “when prayer fails, try praise”? Do prayers fail? No! It avails much more that it can’t fail. We can pray amiss, yes, we can sing amiss too. Every instruction of the Scripture is EQUALLY profitable and it’s designed for our profiting. Praise isn’t superior to prayer vice versa. U’re Graced.
Action cue: Praise isn’t an alternative option to prayer. The two are powerful tenets of the Scripture that should be done with understanding.
JESUS IS GOD!
