Word of the Day: Job 22:23-30 – Return to the Almighty and be restored

Job 22:23-30 – King James Bible

23 If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up; thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.

24 Then shalt thou layup gold as dust and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.

25 Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

26 For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.

27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

30 He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.

Job 22:23

Job 22:24-30 – New Living Translation (NLT)

23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored- so clean up your life.

24 If you give up your lust for money and throw your precious gold into the river,

25 the Almighty himself will be your treasure. He will be your precious silver!

26 “Then you will take delight in the Almighty and look up to God.

27 You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.

28 You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you.

29 If people are in trouble and you say, ‘Help them, God will save them.

30 Even sinners will be rescued; they will be rescued because your hands are pure.”

Job 22:23 – 30 – Amplified Bible

23″If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up, if you put away unrighteousness far from your tents.”

24 “Lay your treasure in the dust, the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks.”

25 “The Almighty will be your treasure, and precious silver to you.”

26 “For then you will delight yourself in the Almighty, and will lift up your face to God.”

27 “You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you. You will pay your vows.”

28 “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established to you. Light will shine on your ways.” 29 “When they cast down, you will say, ‘be lifted up.’ He will save the humble person.”

30 “He will even deliver him who is not innocent. Yes, he will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”

Key: Its time you returned to the Almighty; come clean before Him. Purge the sins that have separated you from Him. The Lord wants to restore all you have lost. The Lord wants you to enjoy the blessings, grace and His faithfulness which He had given unto you through His Son Jesus Christ.  All you have to do is believe in Jesus and His works and personally accept Him as your Lord and Savior – Romans 10:9-10
