1Samulel 10: 15 And Saul’s uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you. 16 And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.
Saul left his father’s house in search of a lost donkey and encountered Samuel along the way, according to the God’s plan and he was anointed King of Israel. When he left the presence his Samuel he went to his uncle’s place who asked what Samuel told him. Saul could have told his uncle he has just been anointed King of Israel but he didn’t. Saul wasn’t instructed by Samuel not to speak about it neither did the spirit of God. Saul understood the principle of keeping secret the things that haven’t fully reached it potential. He has been anointed king of Israel but he hasn’t been proclaimed and acclaimed King of Israel.
When you have a new business idea don’t be too quick to let it out; you must keep it under your hat. Same applies when God has just promoted you to another level don’t be too quick to show it off.
If you go around broadcasting your new idea and new status, there will be people around you who will get jealous and will do anything to put you off the idea. After all, you are saying goodbye to them in a way. You are proclaiming that the old you, the old lifestyle, isn’t good enough anymore and you are off to pastures new. Of course they are going to be unhappy about that. So, keep it to yourself; it doesn’t cost you anything.
Carryon learning and developing your idea; keep your success “lowkey” until it announce itself.
