The Light Impacts Devotional – HARDWORK, HUSTLING and STRUGGLING

“Then Isaac sowed (worked hard) in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. Gen 26:12.

Hard work to me is doing what must be done until the required success is achieved. It is being committed to a course for excellence. Excellence is the upshot of infusion of extremity. A hardworking man loves what he does.  Hustling on the other hand is what we do to make ends meet. Is it possible to make the two ends of a ruler meet? No! Else, it will break. A struggling man hates what he does.

Struggling is leading a hard life cum hard labor with cheap pay. It’s working like an elephant and eating like a rat. I reject it for you in Jesus name. In this part of the world, what we call hard work is really hard life. We have taken the advantage of unemployment to enslave ourselves all in the name of job. I tell people, I’m not at the mercy of my employer but of God. I’m doing for him what he can’t do for himself. May God deliver us from self-slavery. Amen.

Action cue: Develop a superiority complex for yourself whether you went to school or not and know what you want in life.
