1Corinthians 13:2 – KJV – And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
1Corinthians 13:2 – Amplified Bible – If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.
1Corinthians 13:2 – NLT – If I had gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.
KEY: We ought to know that the Gospel of Christ was built on the foundation of love; for God so loved the world – John 3:16. God is love, ditto anyone and everyone who believe in HIM. Our text made it clear that irrespective of our spiritual gifts without the express of love to others it all comes to nothing.
Action: Abound in love; God is love. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us – 1John 4: 12
